Fox Broadcasting Company confirmed that they will be broadcasting this year’s Darwin Awards live from Green Bay starting at approximately 3:40 PM. FOX Media Group chairman, David Hill released the following statement last evening:

We are very excited to televise this year’s Darwin Awards live from Green Bay this Sunday. Our pre-award show coverage will begin at 6:00 AM  as the huge number of this year’s nominees prepare for the big event. We’ll have live drop-ins from various locations including: Lambeau Field’s  parking lots, local taverns, cheese curd factories, hospitals and the famed Green Bay Cryogenic and Fish Fry Center. We’re thrilled that the heads of Ted Williams and Walt Disney have agreed to host the event.

In an unrelated note, Green Bay’s Mensa Chapter has listed their headquarters for sale.
