Chicago White Sox Investigated For Hacking
F.B.I. and Justice Department prosecutors are investigating whether front-office officials for the Chicago White Sox hacked into internal networks of a better team to steal closely guarded information about player personnel, draft strategy and medical records.
Investigators have uncovered evidence that White Sox officials broke into the network servers of Charles Brown. Internal discussions about trades, proprietary statistics, pre- pubescent receding hairlines and dog food recipes were compromised, the officials said.
A well-placed anonymous source within the White Sox organization confirmed that the team was worried about an upcoming four game series against Brown’s hapless team.
“Let’s face it, we’ve lost six straight against these guys, we had to do something”, the source lamented,
